The Elder Buddha was designed to be easily approachable. This drink, although sharing the same base, led down a different path. I added bitterness with Suze and Cocchi Americano, which played up the herbal notes in this cocktail.
Red, White and Blue

To celebrate the 4th of July, the intent of this cocktail was more about achieving the red, white and blue layers than the tastiness of the combination. My ignorance of the physics of varied density liquids resulted in the incorrect order of layers. Worthy of another attempt to get it right!
